Scope
This specification covers the material and process requirements for fabricating sandwich radomes having hot-melt, addition-reaction polyimide-resin-impregnated quartz cloth shells and polyamide-resin syntactic foam cores. This product has been used typically as a radar-transparent structure for use as an electromagnetic window up to 230 degrees C (446 degrees F), but usage is not limited to such applications.
