This specification covers adhesive-backed protective film, pigmented or clear, for aircraft exterior applications. This film is used typically as a replacement for polyurethane paint topcoats on military and commercial exterior aircraft surfaces. The film has been designed to meet air pollution regulations with zero emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC)/organic hazardous air pollutants (HAP).
