- Scope
- This standard specifies the laboratory method for the determination of the sound insulation performance (insertion loss) of sound insulation enclosures for small machines. The so-called "laboratory conditions" means that the test conditions and test environment meet the relevant standard requirements selected in Table 1. This standard is only applicable to the overall sound insulation enclosure, not to the measurement of individual components of the sound insulation enclosure.
