- This standard stipulates the technical requirements, preparation and identification methods of standard samples used for indirect inspection of pendulum impact testing machines according to GB/T 3808, and also includes the verification certificate of standard samples. The notched samples and nominal dimensions described in this standard are consistent with GB/T 229, but the tolerance is stricter. Specimens are expected to have different energy levels, different chemical compositions and/or heat treatments. The requirements for standard impact testing machines of the pendulum type for the qualification of standard specimens are also described in this standard.
