Scope
This standard applies to power transformers that comply with GB l094 series standards and GB 6450 and other standards. The purpose of this standard is to provide the user with information on: - basic operating characteristics of different transformer connections and magnetic circuit designs, especially with regard to zero-sequence phenomena; - system fault currents in transformers with Ynynd and similar connections; - Parallel operation of transformers, calculation method of voltage drop or voltage rise under load conditions, and calculation method of load loss under three-winding load combination; ——How to select rated parameters and tap parameters according to expected load conditions when ordering; —— - How conventionally designed transformers are suitable for variable current loads; - Measurement techniques and accuracy of loss measurements. Part of this standard is general in nature and applies to power transformers of various capacities. However, several chapters deal only with specification and application issues of large high-voltage transformers. Some of the recommendations stated in this standard are not mandatory, therefore, it is not a normative requirement. For information on the load capacity of power transformers, see GB/T 15164 for oil-immersed transformers and GB/T 17211 for dry-type transformers. See GB/T 7449 for guidelines on impact testing of power transformers.
