- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of molded polystyrene foam panels for thermal insulation. This standard is applicable to polystyrene foam plastic sheets with a closed-cell structure and a service temperature not exceeding 75°C, which are obtained by heating and pre-foaming expandable polystyrene beads in a mold. Material cut from large sheets.
