Scope

This regulation specifies tungsten wire (hereinafter referred to as wire) used for filaments, heaters, grids, springs, anchors, supports, discharge cut wires, heaters for vacuum deposition, etc. of lighting and electrical equipment. However, this standard does not apply to wires and bars with a cross section other than circular.
