Scope

This standard applies to tungsten, tri-treated tungsten, and molybdenum wires and rods (hereinafter referred to as wires and rods, respectively) and molybdenum plates and foils (hereinafter referred to as plates and foils, respectively) for use in lighting and electronic equipment. This article specifies the general matters of the test.
