- This standard stipulates general matters regarding sampling methods and sample reduction methods necessary to determine the average properties of a lot when conducting various tests on industrial waste (hereinafter referred to as waste). do. Notes 1. Industrial waste as used in this standard includes sludge, slag, waste acid, waste alkali, cinders, soot and dust, and solidified waste in concrete (hereinafter referred to as concrete solidified material). 2. This applies mutatis mutandis to industrial waste and general waste other than those listed above that have similar shapes.
