Scope

This International Standard provides a general framework for the Life Cycle Impact Assessment (LCIA) stage of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), provides guidance on the main characteristics and inherent limitations of LCIA, and provides requirements for the implementation of the LCIA stage and stipulates the relationship with the LCA stage.
