This standard uses personal dosimeters specified in JIS Z 4332 to measure the 1 cm dose equivalent that an individual receives from outside the body due to hard X-rays with an effective energy of 0.3 to 3 MeV and gamma rays with a photon energy of 0.3 to 3 MeV. and 70 μn dose equivalent, and the method for calculating those dose equivalents using the film badge.
