- This standard specifies the model naming method for aviation electrical products. This standard applies to aviation electrical products that have independent functions, can be shipped from the factory separately, and for which product specifications (standards) must be written. This standard does not apply to aviation electrical products listed in the national military electronic component series spectrum, nor does it apply to aviation electrical products specified in the national military standard product specifications (standards).
