- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, etc. for porcelain jacketed and composite jacketed three-phase combined metal oxide arresters with series gaps (hereinafter referred to as arresters, porcelain jacketed arresters and composite jacketed arresters) with a rated voltage of 42kV and below. This standard is applicable to AC non-effective grounding systems of 35kV and below. It is mainly used for arresters that limit phase-phase and phase-ground atmospheric overvoltages and partial operating overvoltages.
