Scope

This standard specifies the maximum permissible daily discharge of saponin industrial enterprises per ton of product in two time periods, the daily average concentration limit of water pollution control indicators and the maximum permissible discharge of water pollutants per ton of product. This standard is applicable to the water pollutant discharge management of industrial enterprises that produce saponin and saponin hydrolyzate only, as well as the environmental impact assessment of saponin industrial construction projects, the design of environmental protection facilities for construction projects, completion acceptance and water pollution after they are put into production control and management. This standard applies to the discharge of pollutants permitted by law. The site selection of newly established production lines and the management of existing production lines in special protection areas shall comply with Articles 20 and 27 of the "Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China". The relevant provisions of Article 30 of the "Marine Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations on the Administration of Pollution Prevention and Control of Drinking Water Source Protection Areas" are implemented.
