Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage, and safety of synthetic hydrochloric acid for industrial use. This standard applies to industrial synthetic hydrochloric acid obtained by absorbing hydrogen chloride gas synthesized from chlorine and hydrogen with water.
