This standard specifies the safety requirements and test methods for ionizing radiation and radioactivity, electricity, machinery, heat, light, etc. for nuclear monitoring equipment. This standard applies to portable, fixed, vehicle-mounted, airborne, ship-borne, and other common and dedicated nuclear monitoring equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment). This standard does not apply to radiation source devices specially used for metrological calibration of nuclear monitoring equipment.
