- Scope
- 1.1 This standard deals with the mounting of hardware used for the (manual or automatic) opening and closing of doors, gates, windows and the like, or for keeping them in a given position. 1.2 Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN 18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
