Scope
This standard specifies the Buck spectral distance measurement algorithm based on psychoacoustics and reflecting the perceptual characteristics of the human body, the selection of test language materials, the prediction of subjective sound quality from objective measurement, and the analysis and calculation of the results. This standard is applicable to indoor and outdoor speech coding technology, communication equipment or system speech. Through the calculation of MBSD objective distortion distance, the subjective quality of auditory perception is estimated. It is also suitable for the development and research of objective sound quality evaluation.
