- Scope
- This standard gives calculation methods for the thermal resistance and heat transfer coefficient of building elements and building elements, excluding doors, windows and other glazed parts, as well as elements that transfer heat to the ground and elements designed for air infiltration . This calculation method is based on the appropriate design thermal conductivity or design thermal resistance of the materials and articles involved. The standard applies to building elements and units consisting of thermally homogeneous layers (air-encapsulated layers). This standard also gives an approximate calculation method for members with non-thermal homogeneous layers, but not for thermal insulation layers with metal thermal bridges.
