Scope: This section contains historical information on thematic technical reports and on CISPR (Special Committee on Radio Interference). In recent years, CISPR has developed a large number of recommendations and reports, which are of great technical value, but are generally not available. These reports and recommendations were provisionally published in CISPR Publication No. 7 and CISPR Publication No. 8. At the CISPR meeting held in Campinas, Brazil, in 1988, Subcommittee CISPR A reached a consensus on the contents of this part and on giving these reports a permanent place in Part 3 of this standard and publishing these reports for posterity.
