- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the food additive glycine (glycine). This standard applies to the food additive glycine produced by recrystallization of industrial aminoacetic acid produced by the ammoniation process of monochloroacetic acid through purified water dissolution, activated carbon decolorization and other processes.
