- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels and packaging of benzotriazole products. This standard applies to benzotriazole prepared from o-phenylenediamine and sodium nitrite as raw materials. This product is mainly used as a corrosion inhibitor for non-ferrous metals and also has corrosion inhibition effect on ferrous metals. In addition, it can also be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis, photographic chemicals and catalysts, as well as a reagent for the determination of silver, copper and zinc ions.
