Scope

This standard specifies the specimens, instruments and equipment, measurement procedures, result expression and method precision used in the test to determine the water-soluble content of coal-based granular activated carbon. This standard applies to coal-based granular activated carbon, as well as to chitin and wood-based activated carbon. It also applies to used activated carbon, regenerated activated carbon and powdered activated carbon.
