- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of explosion-proof diesel engines for underground mines (hereinafter referred to as diesel engines). This standard applies to explosion-proof diesel engines and their ancillary components used underground in mines with explosive gas environments.
