- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of tin-coated (or chromium) thin steel sheets. This standard is applicable to tin (or chromium) plated steel sheets that are coated with liquid organic coatings and baked and solidified into a film by high temperature for the manufacture of food and beverage containers.
