This standard specifies the basic parameters and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of rotary kilns for the cement industry (hereinafter referred to as "rotary kiln"). This standard applies to ordinary dry process and pre-calcining rotary kilns with an inner diameter of 3.0m to 6.4m. For rotary kilns of other kiln types and specifications, the relevant provisions of this standard can also be referred to.
