Scope

This standard specifies the preparation of originals, various technical aspects of microfilming, quality requirements, retrieval and storage in the production of microforms of meteorological archives. This standard applies to microfilming of all types of archives, but does not apply to microfilming of COM (computer output film), satellite cloud images and color film.
