Scope

This standard specifies the classification and nomenclature, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of sodium hypochlorite generators for electrolyzing low-concentration salt water without a diaphragm. This standard applies to sodium hypochlorite generators (hereinafter referred to as generators) used in wastewater treatment and drinking water disinfection, health and epidemic prevention and industrial production departments.
