Scope

This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of medium and microporous diffusers. This standard applies to medium and micropore aerators (hereinafter referred to as aerators) for biological treatment of sewage, and also applies to aerators used for other purposes such as oxygenating eutrophic water bodies and aquaculture water bodies in the environment.
