Scope

This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, packaging and storage of multi-layer filter materials. This standard applies to multi-layer filters using granular filter materials (hereinafter referred to as filters). This standard applies to pressure and normal pressure (gravity) filters.
