Scope

This standard specifies the definition, basic requirements, technical content, sampling and inspection methods of environmental labeling products for household microwave ovens. This standard is applicable to microwave ovens that use electromagnetic waves in the 2450 MHz frequency band to heat food and whose rated microwave output is 1.5kW or less, with an electric heating device and a steam generating device attached inside.
