IEC 61587-3:2006 Mechanical structures for electronic equipment - Tests for IEC 60917 and IEC 60297 - Part 3: Electromagnetic shielding performance tests for cabinets, racks and subracks
This part of GB/T 18663 specifies the electromagnetic shielding performance test of empty cabinets and sub-boxes in the frequency range of 30 MHz to 2 000 MHz, and specifies all shielding performance levels for IEC 60297 and IEC 60917 series cabinets and sub-boxes. The attenuation value selected. Shielding performance levels are selected based on requirements in typical areas of industrial application and support such measurements for electromagnetic compatibility, but do not replace final compliance testing of the enclosure containing the equipment. The purpose of this section is to ensure the physical integrity and environmental performance of cabinets and sub-boxes, taking into account the needs of different performance levels in different applications. It is intended to give users confidence in selecting product levels to meet their specific needs. This section only applies in whole or in part to empty enclosures, such as cabinets and sub-boxes in accordance with IEC 60297 and IEC 60917, and does not apply to enclosures with electronic equipment installed. This part is closely related to IEC 61000-5-7, but pays special attention to cabinets and sub-boxes and the determination of performance levels in the selected frequency range.
