- Scope
- This standard specifies two titration analysis methods for the determination of the terminal carboxyl group content of polyester - visual method (Method A) and photometric method (Method B). The visual method is used when there is a dispute. This standard is applicable to the determination of the terminal carboxyl group content of polyesters using terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol as raw materials, intermediate products in the production process and final products. Other polyesters can be used as reference.
