- Scope
- This standard specifies the test methods for measuring the weighed thickness of plastic film or sheet samples (see Chapter 3), and the test methods for measuring the average weighed thickness and unit mass area of plastic film or sheet rolls (see Chapter 4). This standard is applicable to all plastic films and sheets, especially when the thickness measurement by mechanical measurement method is not accurate enough, such as measuring the thickness of embossed film.
