Scope
This standard specifies the terminology and definition requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of green food meat and meat products. This standard applies to green food fresh, frozen and cooled pork, beef, mutton, rabbit meat and livestock and poultry meat products. It does not apply to irradiated livestock and poultry meat, livestock and poultry offal and products.
