Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ultrasonic flow meters. This standard is applicable to prototype ultrasonic flow meters that measure average flow velocity or instantaneous flow velocity in rivers, coastal areas, ports, waterways, navigation buildings, etc.
