- Scope
- This standard specifies the definition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of flow rate flow recorders. This standard applies to flow rate flow recorders (hereinafter referred to as recorders) used in conjunction with rotor flow meters (hereinafter referred to as flow meters) in open channel water flow measurements. This standard does not apply to light and audio flow rate counters for manual counting.
