- This standard specifies the composition, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of DC-DC conversion equipment for communications. This standard applies to DC-DC conversion equipment (hereinafter referred to as conversion equipment) that supplies power to communication equipment. The input voltage of this type of equipment is DC 48V (or 24V), and the output voltage can be DC 24V (or 48V), etc. This standard does not apply to modular DC-DC conversion power supplies, DC remote power supply equipment and DC-DC power supply equipment placed inside communication equipment.
