Scope: This standard specifies the microbiological test method of salinomycin in feed and the test method of pre-column derivatization by high performance liquid chromatography. Both methods in this standard are applicable to the determination of salinomycin in compound feed, concentrated feed and additive premixed feed. The lowest detection limit is 1.25mg/kg. The microbiological testing method is the arbitration method. This standard HPLC pre-column derivatization method is also applicable to the determination of salinomycin in salinomycin premix.
