- This standard specifies test methods for determining the mixing of emulsified asphalt and cement. This standard is suitable for identifying slow-setting emulsified asphalt, or classifying anionic slow-setting emulsified asphalt and cationic slow-setting emulsified asphalt. This standard is suitable for measuring the ability of slow-setting emulsified asphalt to be mixed with cement without breaking the emulsion. This standard does not cover safety regulations for use. It is the responsibility of users of the standard to establish appropriate safety procedures before use.
