Scope
This standard applies to the on-site inspection and strength estimation of brickwork and mortar in the following masonry projects: 1 For new construction, the inspection and evaluation of the strength of mortar or brickwork shall be in accordance with the current national standard "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Masonry Works" GB 50203, "Quality Inspection and Evaluation Standards for Construction Engineering" GBJ301, "Standards for Test Methods of Basic Mechanical Properties of Masonry" GBJl29, etc.; when one of the following situations occurs, the strength of mortar or brickwork should be tested and estimated according to this standard: 1) The mortar test block is not representative or the number of test pieces is insufficient: 2) There are doubts or disputes about the test results of the mortar test block, and the actual compressive and shear strength of the masonry needs to be determined; 3) An engineering accident occurs, or the construction The quality is questionable and disputed, requiring further analysis of the strength of brick, mortar and masonry. Note: The strength grade of bricks shall be sampled and tested according to the current product standards. 2 For masonry projects that have already been built, when performing the following reliability appraisals, the strength of the mortar or the working stress, elastic modulus and strength of the brickwork shall be tested and estimated according to this standard: 1) Static safety appraisal and dangerous building appraisal or other Emergency appraisal; 2) Seismic appraisal; 3) Reliability appraisal before overhaul; 4) Special appraisal before changing the use of the house, rebuilding, adding floors or expanding.
