Scope

This part of SN/T 1763 specifies the procedures and methods for testing samples of non-clinical origin at ports of entry and exit for Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxin B. This section applies to laboratory testing of Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxin B on samples from non-clinical sources such as suspect food, water sources, soil and other suspicious contaminants at entry and exit ports, and is not applicable to on-site rapid testing.
