- This standard specifies the scope of application, objects of action, application procedures, safety matters, emergency response to accidents and emergency rescue for sulfuryl fluoride sanitary treatment at entry and exit ports. This standard applies to the use of sulfuryl fluoride for sanitary treatment by sanitary treatment units at entry and exit ports. Sulfuryl fluoride is applicable to sanitation treatment in the following scopes: ——Entry and exit means of transportation (except aircraft); ——Entry and exit shipping containers; ——Entry and exit cargo (main foods that can be fumigated with sulfuryl fluoride, see Appendix A).
