Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the microcoulometric method for the determination of trace amounts of organochlorines in industrial aromatic hydrocarbons. This standard is applicable to samples with organochlorine content in industrial aromatics ranging from 0.5 mg/kg to 25 mg/kg. This standard does not apply to samples with sulfur and nitrogen content greater than 0.1% (mass fraction). If bromide, iodide and inorganic chloride are present in the sample, the measurement result will be higher. 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all safety issues associated with its use. Users are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures to ensure compliance with relevant national regulations.
