- 1.1 This standard specifies the method for measuring the extreme pressure properties of greases using a high-frequency linear vibration tester (SRV) under high-frequency linear vibration. 1.2 This standard can also be applied to evaluate the extreme pressure characteristics of liquid lubricants. 1.3 This standard uses International System of Units [SI] units. 1.4 This standard covers certain hazardous materials, operations and equipment, but does not make recommendations on all safety issues related thereto. Therefore, before using this standard, users should establish appropriate safety protection measures and determine the scope of application of the measures.
