Scope

This standard specifies the form and parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electrical control equipment for cantilever tunnel boring machines (hereinafter referred to as electronic control equipment) for coal mines. This standard is applicable to the control equipment of cantilever tunnel boring machines used as development preparation faces in mines containing gas (methane) and dust explosion hazards.
