- This code stipulates the design principles of steel structures, calculation of loads and effects, calculation of components and connections, and construction requirements of steel structures. This specification is applicable to the design of steel structures of petrochemical tubular furnaces (including cylindrical furnaces and box furnaces) and their chimneys and flue duct systems (hereinafter referred to as steel structures). It is not applicable to steel structures that require fatigue verification.
