Scope

This part specifies the potassium dichromate method for the determination of potassium chlorate content in pyrotechnic powder. This section applies to the determination of potassium chlorate content in pyrotechnic powder. This section does not apply to pyrotechnic powders containing substances that can be oxidized by potassium dichromate in aqueous solution.
