Scope

This part specifies the weighing method to determine the content of organic matter in pyrotechnic powder. This section is applicable to the determination of binder or crude anthracene, hexachloroethane and other organic substances in pyrotechnic powder. This section does not apply to pyrotechnic powders containing two or more organic substances (excluding stearic acid) dissolved in the same solvent.
