Scope: This standard specifies the general requirements for the design and manufacture of UAV systems, including UAVs, mission equipment, radio measurement and control and information transmission (data link) subsystems, ground command and control stations, launch and recovery subsystems, support and Maintenance subsystems, etc. This standard applies to unmanned aerial vehicles (fixed wing) systems launched from the ground, ship surface and air. UAV systems converted from manned aircraft can be used as a reference.
